Diaz and Masvidal fought at UFC 244 back in 2019, with Masvidal scoring a third-round TKO on a doctor stoppage. Masvidal has gone 0-4 in MMA since then, while Diaz was 1-1 in MMA after their fight. Diaz began his pro boxing career, for what that’s worth, in a loss to Jake Paul last year. Masvidal does have a boxing fight on his record, a low-level win way back in 2005.
The show will also feature the return of Daniel Jacobs in a super middleweight matchup with Shane Mosley Jr. Jacobs hasn’t fought since a controversial loss to John Ryder in early 2022, while Mosley has four straight in that same time frame.
